Curriculum

Early Years

At PIPS School System, children in the Early Years enjoy a nurturing environment that builds confidence, self-respect, and a strong sense of belonging. Personal, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development are encouraged through a balance of free and carefully structured play. Guided by the belief that learning is a partnership, teachers and students engage in active listening, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas. Relationships, community values, freedom of expression, and multiple literacies form the foundation of the learning experience.

To ensure holistic development, PIPS School System organizes learning into ‘Areas of Experience’ rather than traditional subject titles. Each area is equally important and interconnected, making assessment of learning and development more effective. The six core areas of experience are:

  • Communication, Language, and Literacy (English and Urdu)
  • Mathematical Development
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the World
  • Personal, Social, and Health Education (PSHE)
  • Physical Development
  • Creative Development (Art and Music)

Early childhood education at PIPS School System provides children with engaging, joyful, and meaningful learning opportunities that lay a strong foundation for future success.

Early Years

Primary

The PIPS School System Primary curriculum is based on the Oxford Curriculum, ensuring international standards while being adapted to meet local educational needs. Covering Classes I to V, the curriculum is taught primarily in English (with the exception of language courses) and is designed to develop knowledge, skills, values, and cultural understanding in a balanced and meaningful way.

Subject selection at this stage is carefully structured to help students make informed choices that connect school learning with further studies and real-world opportunities. By aligning with the Oxford framework, the curriculum encourages critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and cross-curricular learning.

Alongside academics, PIPS School System emphasizes a rich co-curricular programme that nurtures confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and ethical responsibility. Students are encouraged to become lifelong learners who are well-prepared to succeed in higher education and beyond.

Primary

Through a balanced academic and co-curricular programme, students gain confidence, teamwork, and ethical responsibility, preparing them for success in Matriculation and beyond.
